| Memory Landscape Memory Landscape is a mixed media painting series about my personal experiences and memories when I living abroad. I visualise the abstract feelings through juxtaposing and layering the connections and differences between Hunan, my hometown in China and Alberta, Canada, where I live now. For example, “Oil” is more related to petroleum industry and pollution in Alberta, while it connects with agriculture more often in Hunan. The series not only reflects my own memories but also reminds the viewers of cultural differences and what they have been through.
